Description
A practice that prepares for the development of longitudinal twine.
Important! There is no task to put yourself in a twine at any cost. The result of the work depends on the structural features of the pelvis and the available range of mobility of the hip joints. However, it is possible and necessary to work in this direction, developing precisely functional flexibility, that is, such a degree of joint mobility that you can completely control with your muscles.
Please don’t do splits without developed muscle control – this is not only unsafe, but also ineffective. Passive stretching contributes to the rapid wear of tissues, entails joint imbalance and other destructive processes. Your honest split is a form from which you can easily pull yourself together, literally with one movement of your legs. If you need to take yourself out of this form for a long and painful time, then this is not a functional twine; this is the operation of the ligamentous apparatus, which is designed to protect and limit the mobility of the joints, and not vice versa.
